Rafael Stone

At a trim but solid six-foot-three-inches, with black hair and golden brown eyes, Rafael Stone is the face of a multi-billion-dollar business... and a much-sought-after bachelor of the nation's social elite. He's the embodiment of a successful, sophisticated entrepreneur, but underneath that façade is a man with a family secret he's willing to kill to protect.

Rafe is the eldest of the triplet Stone brothers, all members of a Lycan pack originally led by their father. After his death, the pack turned to Rafe for leadership. As pack alpha, he's keenly aware of his duties to keep the family's multi-billion-dollar business running. He knows with money and power, he's better equiped to protect the pack from discovery.

He's accomplished this through years of controlling his surroundings. Although he has a suite over his offices in downtown Chicago, he keeps a rural, multi-acre estate outside the city... a private oasis surrounded by constant hazards.

When a family tragedy proved those dangers were all too real, Rafe responded by changing the private goals of the Lykos Institute. Publicly, it is a non-profit organization promoting the humane treatment & research of wild and domestic canines. However, L.I.'s shadow operations are much more deadly. Their agents track/terminate rogue Lycans who threaten to reveal Lycan existence to humans and are deemed a threat to Lycans & humans, alike.

The demands of work and public appearances have left him with little time to fulfill another responsibility of the alpha... the search for a mate. But that's only until a woman with a badge targets him as the prime suspect in a murder investigation, and threatens to reveal every secret he's spent his life trying to protect.
